Fredrika Rei

BIO

Born in Finland, raised in Belgium and based in Stockholm, independent artist and producer Fredrika Rei makes electropop inspired by the inner and outer world, space and dinosaurs. Since her debut single "100 years old"- the first song she ever produced - in 2022, she has been giving us her perspective on life, love and creativity.

Her debut EP "less depression, more dancing" made its mark on the nordic pop scene when it arrived in February 2024. Dramatic disco banger "The Human Experience" was played on Finnish radio all winter, "Sparkle Sparkle Little Star" and "think about" landed spots on editorial Spotify list "Suomi indie tänään", and clubby anthem "So It Goes" was picked as one of the best songs of 2023 by Swedish music blog Vakentimmar.

In 2024 she released romantic drum n bass banger ”lose my cool”, which went straight onto New Music Friday in all the Nordic countries, Finnish radio and was picked as song of the week by blog KULT. Then came "Giulietta", an ominous tale for the dance floors about an out of control alter ego, as well as collabs with Swedish acts The Jilted and Bitchey. Again, she was chosen as one of the most notable artists of 2024 by music blog Vakentimmar.

Her first release of 2025, "Slayer", is an intense confrontation with the vampires of the world, which premiered on Finnish radio and landed a placement on Apple Music's "Sounds from Sweden". And the last piece of her next EP drops 25/4.

Get swept away in the Fredrika Rei universe.

MUSIC

"I varje låt finns det något som bränner till, som sticker ut. (...) Det handlar hela tiden om att förmedla en känsla och få oss som lyssnare att förstå exakt vilken känsla hon vill förmedla. Hon lyckas med det gång på gång." - Vakentimmar
